The Baytown Farmers’ Market is excited about returning on March 18th, 2023. We have some exciting news to share. We have a new name and new hours! Baytown Farmer’s Market is now called “The Market at Town Square”. We will remain a year-round market located at the Baytown Town Square, 213 W. Texas Avenue, operating on the 3rd Saturday of the month. The new hours will be 10:00am-2:00pm to better reflect the hours customers are arriving. In July and August, we will be having our market in the evening from 6:00pm-10:00pm to beat the heat.

The Market at Town Square will also include activities for children and food trucks each month. There will also be alcoholic beverages such as morning cocktails on-site for purchase each month.

We will be inside Town Square and on Texas Avenue to allow for more booths. Previously there was a long wait list for new vendors to be able to join the market. With new spaces opening, there is more opportunity for vendors to secure a booth. If you would like to join the Market at Town Square as a vendor, be sure to fill out the appropriate application. Booth space remains free of charge for vendors.

We are also offering booth space to Young Entrepreneurs (Ages 5-16) on a first come first served basis. This is an opportunity for children to learn about operating a small business with the help of a parent or guardian. It will be a rotating space with the purpose of it being a one-time experience and allow more youth to participate. Those interested will need to fill out an the Artisan Application.

There will be live music from local entertainment such as community and school groups and talent. The opportunity has been added as a new feature to encourage community participation and local support within our city. If you know someone who would be interested in performing live at the Market at Town Square, have them contact the Market Manager. We are currently looking for performances to book in the 2023 calendar!
